Apocalyptic Typhoon Aftermath, 10,000 or More Feared Dead
MONSTER, CATEGORY V, SUPER TYPHOON
PUNCHES and SLASHES through the middle of the PHILIPPINES terrifying 12 million people in its path havingmonstrous 175 mph to over 200 mph sustained high winds, smashing and blowing away many homes and bringing torrential rains up to 15.75 inches in some areas, causing massive flooding with water levels risingup to 7 feet quickly and also quickly destroying many parts of the infrastructure of the middle of the Philippines, leaving 1 million people displaced or stranded in evacuation centers.

This typhoon was so powerful that it makes hurricanes Sandy and Katrina look like weak cousins! The 15 ¾ inches of brackish water and rains that fell flooded and destroyed many rice crops in the fields which for the people in the Philippines is their main staple and supply of food. It will take them four months to re-establish this food supply and family income once again! Starvation looms ahead!
Families horrified, running, hiding and seeking safe shelter in evacuation centers, waiting in terror and praying for this nightmare of a Category Five typhoon to end! Nine million poor children in the Philippines were already malnourished and starving before this typhoon struck these islands

This typhoon in size was as wide as from New Orleans to Canada that impacted the Philippines!
Also notice in picture above the roof of this school has been completely blown away! And equally as devastating how all the major food sources like banana bushes are destroyed, flattened and the palm trees are completely stripped of their coconuts because of the extreme winds. It takes approximately three years before the coconuts grow back and are ready as a food source again for harvesting to sell as a cash crop, as copra and for coconut oil, thousands of livelihoods are lost.
Capt John Andrews, Deputy Director General of the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines, told the news that he had first hand reports of roughly 100 people presumed dead in Tacloban, "and that's only the count of bodies lying on the streets." Notice in the picture above because of the severely high, sustained winds that bark was stripped off of the trees still standing…
It looks like an atomic blast leveled this city instead of a Typhoon, Tacloban, Leyte Philippines!
