FMSC/RSM Manna-Pack,Potato-W, Manna-Pack-R
Both feeding programs for little Twins doubly effective!

The twins being given with their Manna-Pack Potato Supply

In the Parish of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary in the Diocese of Parañaque,  these twins were included in the feeding program utilizing the Manna-Pack Potato of  Feed My Starving Children donated through and shipped by Risen Savior Missions and facilitated by the Hapag-Asa feeding Program Network. These are Antonette and Allysa Rondilla from a poor family with their parents having no stable source of income. The twins were   enrolled in the MannaPack feeding for a period of 3 months which commenced last June and ended this August.   They were part of HAPAGASA 264 feeding site, a fundraising project which aims to raise funds to help feed their identified 264 undernourished children in one parish in Manila.

The twins during the feeding with Manna-Pack Fortified Rice

For three months, the twins were given weekly supplies of Manna-Pack Potato which were administered to them by their parents thrice daily. The Manna-Pack Potato-W served as their weaning food complementing the donated milk that they drank to provide their daily nutrient requirements.  At the end of every week, their parents got together with the others are gathered for the collection of the empty bags and release of their next week's requirement. The children were also monitored during this time. Upon graduation (at the end of the 3 months program), evaluation showed that there is still need for them to be enrolled in the next batch of feeding for malnourished children.

Since they are already more than 1 year olds, they were enrolled in the 4th batch of the regular feeding of the parish. This time, the children were given Manna-Pack Fortified Rice and fed once daily for a span of six months. As part of the program, they were also given medical check up every two months, along with needed appropriate medicines.

The twins after the six months feeding

According to the feeding coordinators, prior to the 6 months feeding, the children cannot walk are always being carried by their parents, are sickly and shy.  After the 6-month feeding, they became more active, playful, and sociable and they already interact with other children in the program. As seen in the photo, they can already stand and walk on their own. They also have improved skin tone, hair has grown back and filled in, no more skin rashes and have improved appetite.   Malnutrition has been eliminated and their health has been restored.  With the FMSC food, all by the grace of God!

Praise God!!!!
